Launch Date Revealed for Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition, Coming to PlayStation VR2 on February 22, 2023

Today, the team at PlayStation announced the news you’ve been waiting for: PlayStation VR2 will be released on February 22, 2023, with Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition releasing as a launch title. If you’re eager to head to a galaxy far, far away on PS VR2, pre-orders are available now on the PlayStation Store!

 

 

To celebrate the news, we’ve also released brand new key art, which you can see above. Featuring our favorite Azumel barkeep Seezelslak, voiced by Bobby Moynihan, the new artwork showcases many of our favorite friends and foes who you’ll meet on the outskirts of Black Spire Outpost and beyond.

 

Announced in September during PlayStation’s State of Play event, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition has been rebuilt to take advantage of many of the enhancements that the PS VR2 has to offer. Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition includes new high-fidelity visuals, complete with foveated rendering and eye tracking, feedback that can be felt in the headset, adaptive triggers and haptic feedback on the PS VR2 Sense controllers, as well as rich 3D audio to surround you in dynamic soundscapes.
